VISUAL ARTS & PROGRAMMING

For the past five years, BLOCK T has served as a platform for fine artists, creatives individuals and organisations to create, showcase and share their practice. During this time we have worked with and facilitated a host of professional and emerging artists, animators, writers, curators, thinkers, performers, musicians and other creative producers who have made our programme truly innovative, experimental and engaging. The implementation of our multidisciplinary programme lends itself to a dynamic audience, who engage with our organisation on a regular basis.

Our programme consists of various opportunities for artists and other creative professionals, including Exhibitions, Studio Project Awards, International Exchange and Residencies, and FUEL, a series of events, awards and activities dedicated to emerging artists and recent graduates of the arts and creative industries.

Although BLOCK T is an independent organisation which receives no public funding overall, we have received funding from The Arts Council, Dublin City Council, and Fingal Arts Council for our work in the Visual Arts programme.

BLOCK T's diverse, multi-disciplinary programme offers an eclectic abundance of events, exhibitions, talks and screenings which not only challenges and engages both artists and audiences, but has also paved the way for a future model of art spaces in this city"
