The Darkroom at BLOCK T is Dublin's largest Black and White and Colour Printing studio run by professional photogrpaher, Mella Travers. Their ethos to provide open access facilities, alongside a range of courses and workshops, aims to keep analogue photography, processes and printing firmly on the cultural map of Dublin. From Beginners class to Masterclass workshops, The Darkroom provides affordbale courses in all areas of photography, including super 8mm and motion film, as well as analogue and digital processing and printing. 

 

 All courses are taught by tutors with extensive experience working professionally in their respective fields of expertise, using practical and hands-on demonstration, practice and tuition. The aim is to have students leaving their courses feeling confident in their newly developed abilities, and we do our very best to ensure that they thoroughly enjoy their experience with us.
