My work explores ideas regarding immobility and the fear of not being in control of one’s own body. There is a paranoia of being overly observed from both inside and out where there is no escape from the divine or societal eye. A sense of powerlessness permeates throughout all my work where we are all at the mercy of the sublime forces of time, fate and government bureaucracy. In my life and work I struggle with ideas of freedom and whether or not we have any in the face of forces we are unable to comprehend.
