Expressive Figure Painting From Life // A 6 week course with Artist Bríd Higgins Ní Chinnéide // Starts Thursday January 25th // 10:00 - 13:00

 

In this 6-week course students will paint the nude figure from life in oils. Each pose will last for two sessions (6 hours total) and there will be an emphasis on acute observation and quick, alla prima painting techniques.

Students will improve their painting and observation skills while taking on the challenge of painting the nude figure. Through these exercises, students will learn more about composition, colour mixing and human anatomy.

This course will be of most benefit to artists with some experience of working with oil paints.  This course is a progression from the Painting and Observation courses with Bríd Higgins Ní Chinnéide, but previous attendance is not required.

Bríd is a Dublin-based painter. She studied at the Repin Academy of Art in St Petersburg, Russia.  She exhibits regularly. www.bridhc.ie | @bridhc

If you cannot attend the workshop we can reschedule your workshop if you inform us up to 21 days prior to the workshop's start date. If you request to reschedule less than 21 days before the workshop starting date we will not be in a position to change the date.
