Explore the world of pottery using the best tools we have – our hands!  During this 4 week hand-built pottery course, we will work on three fundamental areas – slab building, coil building and pinch pots.

​

This course allows participants to explore areas of functional and decorative work. We will go through all stages of the ceramics process, starting with the raw clay and finishing with a glazed piece.

​

Course teacher Michelle Collier is a professional ceramic artist who owns pottery business Imirt Cré. Michelle created the popular Pottery & Pints events, and regularly teaches pottery workshops in a range of other settings. Michelle crafts a fun and engaging environment in her class and caters for all skill levels and abilities, meaning no previous experience is needed. This course is also open to anyone who has previously taken our Intro course as we can develop on the skills learned.

If you cannot attend the workshop we can reschedule your workshop if you inform us up to 21 days prior to the workshop's start date. If you request to reschedule less than 21 days before the workshop starting date we will not be in a position to change the date. Places can be given to a friend if you can no longer attend - please inform us as soon as you can with the new attendee's contact details.
